- Step 3: The employee handbook will integrate this policy, and communication of it will take place in advance of the holiday season for all staff members.
- Step 4: In an effort to keep business continuity, a phased approach to complete operations ahead of the break and then reactivate them after it.
- Step 5: Department heads will be in charge of constructing thorough transition plans that cover main tasks to complete prior to the break and the priorities for the return to work.
As we get ready for the long break:
- We will strengthen our project management approaches to fit the time off. To account for the holiday break, project timelines and deadlines will receive adjustments, alongside buffer time to stop last-minute surges or employees feeling undue stress.[1]
- We will deploy a system for the whole firm to manage out-of-office messages and assign urgent items to the correct contacts throughout the break.
